I've recently been prescribed Klor-Con M15 ER Tablets to treat low potassium levels due to my diuretic medication. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? How did you manage the side effects? Did you notice any improvements in your symptoms? I would love to hear from anyone who has tried this before.

I've been on diuretics for years and have always taken potassium supplements. I finally switched to Klor-Con M15 ER and it's been a game-changer. The extended release helps a lot with maintaining steady potassium levels. But yes, the wax matrix in the stool can be a bit odd at first.

100% agree with the above. If you are experiencing these symptoms, don't ignore them, and get to the doc ASAP. I had a case where someone came in with chest pain and a really high heartbeat.

This medication saved my life after I started having issues with low potassium. The side effects are real, but for me, the benefits outweighed the downsides. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body.

I had to stop taking Klor-Con because the diarrhea was just too much to handle. But before that, it really helped with my potassium levels. It's a bit of a trade-off, but worth discussing with your doctor.

I've been on Klor-Con M15 ER for a few months now. The side effects were a bit tough at first—mostly stomach issues and diarrhea. But my doctor adjusted the dosage, and now I'm doing much better. It's definitely helped with my low potassium levels.

I don't get it. Why are there so many side effects? I thought this was just potassium.

The worst was the stomach pain, but I managed it by taking it with food. I had a few scares with the chest pain, too, but it turned out to be nothing serious. Just make sure to monitor your symptoms closely.

Oh wow, I didn't know about the wax in the stool. That sounds super unsettling, good to know
