I've been prescribed Pregabalin ER 82.5mg tablets for my fibromyalgia. I've heard it's good for nerve pain, but I'm also worried about the side effects. I know it's an extended-release medication, but how exactly does it work? I'm hoping to hear from others who have used it and know about its effectiveness and potential side effects. I'm also curious about what to watch out for - the serious side effects seem scary. Thoughts?

I've been prescribed this too. It really works well in helping with the pain but you need to be careful with taking it. Even the smallest things can make things worse like overdosing on it or even drinking with the medication. You have to be really careful with it.

I've heard this can even help with anxiety. Is that true? I have both fibromyalgia and anxiety, so I'm hoping it might help with both.

I had a friend who started taking Pregabalin and ended up in the hospital with severe allergic reactions. It's scary stuff, but it also helped with her pain. Talk to your doctor about what to watch out for. It's really important to be aware of the serious side effects and seek medical help immediately if you notice any of them.

I hope it works for you. I've heard it can be rough on the body but worth it if it helps with the pain. Just monitor those side effects closely.

I've been taking Pregabalin for a while now, and while it's helped with my nerve pain, I've gained a lot of weight. Has anyone else experienced this?

Keep in mind the risks. I had a friend who started acting strange and ended up unresponsive. Be careful and hope for the best.
