How much of a life-changer was Levoxyl 0.175mg (175mcg) for your hypothyroidism symptoms?
I was recently prescribed Levoxyl 0.175mg (175mcg) for my hypothyroidism. I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this medication. How long did it take for you to see improvements in symptoms like weight gain, feeling cold and tired? Did you experience any of the possible side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I'm particularly interested in hearing about the more common ones like mood changes and hair loss. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I had known about the mood swings. I'm all over the place some days and it's driving my family crazy. But it's manageable. I just wish I'd known. Maybe talk to your doctor about any mood changes you experience.
Be very careful and report anything concerning to your doctor. I had a rash that was itchy and seemed like it might be allergic reaction, but it turned out to be a reaction to the medicine. My doctor sorted it out and changed the dose. Now I'm okay.
Has anyone else experienced sensitivity to heat? I've been sweating like crazy, and it's a bit annoying. But overall, the medication has been fantastic for my energy levels.
Levoxyl has been a lifesaver for me. I wish more people knew about it. The weight loss has been amazing, but I do worry a bit about the long-term effects. Has anyone else had concerns about that?
I started feeling a bit shaky and had trouble sleeping for the first month or so, but my doctor adjusted the dose, and it went away. Now it's great! Just be patient and stay in close contact with your doctor.
