I've been prescribed Hydrocort/iodoq 1-1.9% Cream 60gm for a persistent skin infection. The cream seems to be helping, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. I've read about some of the potential issues, like allergic reactions, and I want to make sure I'm prepared. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences or any advice you might have. How long did it take for the cream to work for you? Also, did you experience any of the more serious side effects?

I’ve been on this for a while now, and while it’s helped my skin issue, I’ve noticed some skin thinning and dryness. Not sure if I should continue using it.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction – swelling in the face and everything. Went to the ER because I thought I was having an allergic reaction. Turns out it was just the cream.

I didn't have any bad effects, which I'm grateful for. But it's tricky to know what to look for the first time you use something new.

I didn't notice any severe side effects. I do have a rash on my arm, though.

I even had a friend with a more severe case of this. They had to go to an endocrinologist for the diabetes, but that was a rare case.

If you experience any symptoms like confusion and sleeping too much, let the doctor know. It can be a sign of high blood sugar – not good.

Did your doctor explain the possible side effects to you? Just be sure to read up on everything you can before you start using it. I always get a bit worried when I use new meds, but so far so good.

I used this cream for a fungal infection a few years ago. It worked really well, but I did notice some skin irritation at the site of application. It wasn't too bad, though, and it went away after a few days. I'd recommend it if the infection is pretty persistent.

If you have any questions about what you should do, check in with your doctor. They’ll have the best advice on if you need to switch medications or not.

This cream is a lifesaver for me, I've been using it for a few months now and it's kept my folliculitis under control. I used to have outbreaks on my legs and back, but since I started using this, it's been way better. I just make sure to keep an eye out for those severe side effects and if anything serious happens, I'll head to the doctor, but I think the benefits far outweigh the risks in my case. It might be worth a shot if you're dealing with an infection that's not responding to other treatments.
