I was recently prescribed Ivabradine 7.5mg Tablets to manage my heart failure. The doctor explained that it works by slowing down my heart rate, which helps my heart pump blood more efficiently. I've been taking it twice a day with meals as prescribed and have noticed a reduction in shortness of breath and fatigue. However, I'm a bit concerned about the side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and abnormal heart rhythms. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? How do you manage the side effects? I know it's important to contact emergency medical attention if I experience any of the urgent side effects, but I'd like to hear from others who have been through this. What are the most common side effects you've encountered? Also, how do you manage the medication in children, especially younger ones where symptoms of a slow heartbeat might be subtle?

I've been on Ivabradine for about a year now. The first few weeks were tough, I experienced some temporary and mild side-effects, but overall, it's been a game-changer for managing my heart failure. Definitely talk to your doctor if you have any concerns, but don't let the side effects scare you.

I had a reaction and had to go to the hospital, it was terrifying but worth it.

Has anyone had issues with high blood pressure while on this medication? I noticed that severe headache is one of the signs of high blood pressure.

I had a bout with a slow heartbeat. It was scary, but catching it early was crucial. I had to go to the ER, and they adjusted my dosage. Now I'm monitoring my heart rate regularly.

I remember my doctor mentioning that in children, the symptoms of a slow heartbeat can be subtle like poor feeding and trouble breathing. It's something to keep an eye on.

Be sure to take it with food. I forgot once and had a really bad stomach ache.

I had to switch to a different medication because Ivabradine gave me terrible headaches. But for some, it works wonders. It's all about finding what works best for you.

I'm surprised more people don't know about this medication. It's been a lifesaver for me.

I've been on Ivabradine for a few months and have noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms. I did experience some dizziness at first, but it went away after a few weeks. My doctor recommended taking it with food, and that helped a lot. I also monitor my heart rate regularly to make sure everything is okay. Overall, I'm very pleased with how well it's working for me. It’s great to have this medication as an option for managing heart failure.
