Just got Marcaine 0.25% Inj, 50ml for my surgery. Anyone have experience with this?
I'm scheduled for a surgery next week and my doctor prescribed Marcaine 0.25% Inj, 50ml for local numbing. I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm still a bit nervous. Has anyone here used this before? What was your experience like? I'm especially worried about the more serious side effects like methemoglobinemia and cardiovascular issues. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!

I had it for my epidural during childbirth. It worked great, no side effects for me. You'll be fine!
I had Marcaine for a dental procedure. Felt fine but my tongue was all numb for hours. Weird but not bad.
I had a bad reaction to it once. Felt like I was having a panic attack. Be prepared just in case.
