My pediatrician just prescribed Amox-Clav 400mg/5ml Susp 100ml for my 3-year-old's ear infection. I've never heard of this before and I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the serious ones. I've read that it can cause severe allergic reactions and even liver problems. Has anyone else given this to their kids? How did it go? I want to make sure I'm prepared for any potential issues. Also, any tips on how to get my kid to take the medicine without a fuss would be appreciated!

My kid had a weird rash after taking it, but the doctor said it was just a minor reaction. Make sure to check with your doctor if you notice anything unusual.

Mix it with a bit of juice or applesauce if your kid hates the taste. It made it easier for my little one to take.

My doctor told me to watch for signs of liver problems too. It's rare, but it's good to know what to look out for. Good luck!

Just finished giving this to my daughter. She had a bit of an upset stomach but nothing too bad. Keep a close eye on them and you’ll be fine.

I had to give this to my kid a few times. It's tough, but it works. Just be vigilant about the side effects and you'll be fine.

I'm not sure why they prescribe these things to kids. I wish they could come up with something less scary! Hang in there, mama.

I've given this to my kid before and it worked great! No side effects at all. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully.

Be aware of the diarrhea. My kid had it pretty bad, but it went away after we finished the course.

This stuff is not fun to give to kids. Make sure to give it with food so it’s easier on their stomach. Good luck!
