I had a mild reaction but was prescribed it so I just toughed it out. The doctor said it was common.
I took Cefprozil for a skin infection, and honestly, it was rough. I did get some rashes, and it was pretty uncomfortable. Just be prepared for potential reactions, and keep a close eye on how you feel.
Be very careful and stay alert for any signs of an allergic reaction. I had a friend who ended up in the ER because she thought some minor rash was no big deal. I've taken Cefprozil before for a strep throat infection. The most noticeable side effect for me was an upset stomach, but it wasn't too bad. I just took it with food and was fine.
