Just started Captopril 25mg Tablets - How have your experiences been?
I've recently been prescribed Captopril 25mg Tablets for high blood pressure and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience? Was the cough that is listed as a possible side effect severe or mild? How about the changes in taste? What can I do to mitigate the side effects? I want to make sure this is the right medication for me.

I'm on Captopril and it's been fine so far. Just take it as prescribed and you should be okay. Good luck!
I've had no issues at all with Captopril. It's been great for my blood pressure and I haven't experienced any side effects. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
Captopril saved my life. I had severe heart problems and this medication really helped. Just keep an eye on your kidney function and blood pressure.
Captopril works well for me, but I did notice a change in my sense of taste. It's not a big deal, but it's noticeable. Definitely talk to your doctor if it's bothersome.
I can't stand the cough. I tried it for a couple of months, but it was too much. My doctor switched me to something else and I'm much better.
I had a weird reaction to Captopril. I developed a rash and had to switch medications. If you notice anything like that, stop taking it immediately and see your doctor.
Yeah, the cough is annoying, but it's not that bad. Just make sure to keep a bottle of water handy and you'll be fine.
Be careful with Captopril. My friend had to be hospitalized because of kidney problems. Make sure to get regular check-ups.
