I was just prescribed Furosemide 10mg/ml Inj 2ml to manage some swelling and high blood pressure. The doctor explained it helps remove excess fluid, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. What were your experiences with side effects? Did you notice any improvements quickly? Any tips on managing the side effects, like dizziness or dehydration? I have a list of potential side effects, but I'm wondering how common they are and if there are any tricks to mitigating them. Also, how do you deal with the frequent urination? Thanks in advance for any insights!

Furosemide is a strong diuretic, but it's important to remember that it can cause dehydration if you're not careful. Always listen to your body and talk to your doctor if you feel any unusual symptoms. Don't just power through it. And the frequent urination can be annoying at night, try not to drink too much fluid before going to bed.

I've been taking it for a while and I've noticed that the dosage can affect how I feel. If you start to feel bad, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose. Sometimes a little tweak can make a big difference.

I never liked the idea of being on a fluid pill, but for someone who's had severe water retention, it really does a great job of helping with swelling. Be aware though, you may need to make trips to the bathroom more frequently and several times through out the night.

Keep an eye on your potassium levels and electrolytes. Even if you feel okay, it's important to get regular blood tests to make sure everything is balanced. This is something I wish I knew from the start.

How often do you take it? My doctor told me to take it in the morning because of the frequent urination, but I've heard others take it at night. What's the best approach?
