I was recently prescribed Pravastatin 80mg Tablets to help lower my high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. My doctor said it would help reduce my risk of heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes. I started taking them a week ago, but I'm already feeling some side effects. Has anyone else experienced this? I've been having some muscle pain and tenderness, which I thought might be the statin's side effects. I've also been feeling a bit tired and dizzy. Has anyone else had these issues, or am I just being paranoid?

I had a lot of side effects with Pravastatin. I ended up switching to a different statin and feel much better. Maybe consider talking to your doctor about changing medications if it gets worse.

I've been on Pravastatin for a few months now, and I've had similar issues with muscle pain. My doctor told me it's common but to keep an eye on it. Make sure to report any severe symptoms right away!

I've been taking Pravastatin for years and haven't had any side effects. But everyone is different, so just keep an eye on those symptoms and talk to your doctor.

I’ve been on Pravastatin for six months and the only side effect I’ve noticed is some mild headaches. But I also take a daily aspirin, so who knows if that’s the cause. Still, it could be the Pravastatin.

I had a weird rash when I started taking Pravastatin. Turns out it was an allergic reaction. If you notice any skin issues, definitely get it checked out.

Pravastatin gave me the worst diarrhea. I had to stop taking it. Maybe that's why you're feeling so tired—dehydration can do that! Just a thought.

I wish doctors would prescribe Pravastatin more often. It works wonders for cholesterol. I've been on it for 2 years and have seen a huge improvement in my levels. But yeah, keep an eye on those side effects.
