I've been prescribed Pravachol 80mg Tablets to lower my high cholesterol and triglycerides. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the muscle pain and liver problems. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Did you notice any significant improvements in your cholesterol levels? Any tips on managing side effects would be greatly appreciated too. Thanks in advance!

If you're experiencing any issues, stop taking the medication immediately and seek medical attention. Even though side effects are rare, it's always better to be safe, especially with liver and muscle issues.

The side effects suuuuuck, but I feel great. Good luck, and remember, it's better to be cautious with this one.

I had some stomach issues when I started, but they went away after a while. Just give it some time, and if it gets worse, talk to your doctor. Good luck with the new medication!

If you start feeling unwell, don't hesitate to call your doctor. Better safe than sorry! I had some rash issues and they put me on a different statin. No issues since.

I've been on Pravachol for a year and I feel fine. My cholesterol is much better. It's different for everyone, so just be patient and take care of yourself. You'll do great!

I've never had any side effects and it works great. My doctor is happy with my progress. You're lucky you can do this - good for you for taking charge of your health!

Be careful with muscle pain. I had a friend who ignored it and ended up with some serious kidney issues. Just be vigilant and report any unusual symptoms to your doctor. Good luck!

I've been on Pravachol for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my cholesterol levels, but I did experience some muscle soreness at first. It went away after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body!

I switched to a statin a while back and it's been great. I didn't have any side effects, but my doctor monitored my liver enzymes regularly. Just follow your doctor's advice and you should be fine.
