Just wanted to share that my doctor prescribed Lyumjev Tempo 100u/ml Inj Pen 3ml for managing my diabetes, which is a fast acting insulin. I'm supposed to inject it right before or shortly after meals and it's supposed to help lower my blood sugar quickly. I'm feeling a bit nervous cause I know one side effect is low blood sugar. So how did it go for any one who has used it before? Any side effects you experienced that I should look out for?

Honestly, the injection part was easier than I thought for me with Lyumjev. I started noticing a big difference in my blood sugar levels right away. Be sure to keep a glucagon kit on hand just in case you experience a severe low blood sugar episode!

Does anyone else get weird flu-like symptoms? I can't tell if it's the insulin or something else.

I hated the injection pens at first but I got used to them. I didn't realize how great they are for dosing. Any tips on how to insert the needles more easily?

Make sure the pen is stored properly. I put mine in the fridge at first like my old insulin, and it gave me some weird lumps at the injection site. That said, Lyumjev is great!

Lyumjev is a game-changer. It's really fast-acting, but that also means you need to be really careful with timing. I had a few close calls with low blood sugar early on, but once I got the hang of it, it's been great.

Just a heads-up, I got a bit of a rash at one of my injection sites. It went away after a few days, but I mentioned it to my doctor just in case. It turns out it was just a minor allergic reaction. Make sure to report anything unusual to your doctor.

This insulin is amazing. I've had diabetes for years, and Lyumjev is the first insulin that's really made a difference for me. If I could i would give this 100 upvotes.
