Just started using Topicort 0.25% Ointment for my psoriasis. Any tips or experiences to share?
I've been dealing with psoriasis for years, and my doctor recently prescribed me Topicort 0.25% Ointment. I've only used it a few times, but I'm already noticing some improvement. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else had any issues with it? Also, how long did it take for you to see significant results? I'm hoping to get some insight and tips from others who have used this medication. Thanks in advance!

I've heard the side effects can be pretty serious. Make sure to report any unusual symptoms to your doctor right away. Maybe this is a bit harsh but I'm confused why anyone would want to use steroids.
I had a friend who used Topicort and ended up with weight gain and a moon face. I don't know if it was from the ointment but it was nasty. I will stick to natural remedies if possible.
I tried Topicort and it made my skin super dry and itchy. I had to stop using it. Everyone's skin is different, so what works for one person might not work for another. It's frustrating but this is just the way it goes.
I used it for a few days and saw no difference. My doctor said it can take up to a few weeks to see improvements. Hang in there, it might just take some time.
I've been using Topicort for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my eczema. Just be careful not to overuse it, as it can thin your skin over time. Also, make sure to follow your doctor's instructions closely.
I had a bad reaction to Topicort. I got these horrible stretch marks on my skin. I switched to a different ointment and it's been fine since. Just be cautious and consult your doctor regularly. Also, this is not a joke but it feels like a steroid
I used Topicort for a while and it worked well for me. Just make sure to apply it thinly and avoid sensitive areas like your face. Also, wear sunscreen because it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
I've been using it for a week and it's been great so far. No side effects yet, but I'm keeping an eye out. Just remember, everyone's skin reacts differently to medications.
Topicort is strong stuff. Make sure to use it sparingly and only on the affected areas. And for the love of god, don't let it get in your eyes. Trust me on this one.
Just a heads up, if you get any signs of an allergic reaction, like swelling or trouble breathing, go to the ER right away. It's scary but better safe than sorry. Trust me, I've been there.
