I've just been prescribed Xcopri 50mg Tablets for my partial-onset seizures. I've read about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions and suicidal thoughts, and I'm a bit nervous. The doctor told me to start with a low dose and gradually increase it, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or personal experiences they can share. I'm also curious about how long it takes for the medication to start working effectively. Does anyone know if there are any specific foods or activities I should avoid while on this medication? I want to be as prepared as possible. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I've heard that some people experience memory issues while on this medication, especially during the initial period. I can't speak from personal experience on that but just to let you know.

I've been on Xcopri for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for me. I started with a really low dose and gradually increased it over 6 weeks as prescribed. The most common side effects I experienced were dizziness and fatigue, but they went away after the first few weeks. Make sure you have someone with you when you start taking it, just in case you have a bad reaction. Oh, and avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.

I've been on Xcopri for a while now, and honestly, it was super helpful with my seizures, but the side effects were brutal at the beginning. What helped me was talking to my doctor about it all the way. I was also lucky that my partner could help me with meals and tasks at home.

I feel like I got the side effect lottery with Xcopri – reduced seizures and no major side effects. It’s been a great combination for me.

Going through with this medication, I was really worried about the risk of depression. But my doctor was great and we talked through it every week when I first started. Honestly, it's been a positive experience, but it’s a lot to go through.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience with this medication can be different. Some people might have more side effects than others, and it's always good to keep that in mind. For me, the side effects were pretty minimal, but I know others who had a harder time.

Does anyone know if alcohol can interfere with Xcopri?
