Just tried Enemeez Plus Mini Enema for the first time. Burning sensation anyone else?
I decided to try Enemeez Plus Mini Enema 30x5ml for the first time today as I was having some issues with occasional constipation. The product contains Benzocaine for numbing and Docusate for softening stool. It claims to provide relief, but I experienced some burning in addition to relief from discomfort. I know that sometimes side effects such as rectal irritation can occur, but I wasn't sure if this was normal. Has anyone else had this experience? Anyone know if this could be a potential side effect? I don't want to worry but also don't want to ignore it. Thanks for any advice!

I've used Enemeez Plus, and that burning sensation is not normal. Definitely check in with a healthcare provider. It's always better to make sure.
Honestly, I had a similar experience. I thought it was supposed to numb the area, but it didn't work for me. I ended up going to the doctor, and they recommended a different brand. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what. Just wanted to let you know.
Burning sensation could be a sign of an allergic reaction. Better safe than sorry—get it checked out by a medical professional. You don't want to mess around with your health.
It could be the Benzocaine causing the burning sensation. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. Maybe try a different product that doesn't have Benzocaine in it. Just a thought!
I've used Enemeez Plus a few times and never had a burning sensation. Maybe try adjusting your position or using a different angle to see if that helps? But you should definitely call your doctor.
I had the opposite problem. Used it and it was a dream, very fast! But the doctor and manufacturer are probably the best to talk to. Better to err on the side of caution.
Well, that's a bummer. I've heard good things. I would try a different brand or product just in case it was a bad batch. Otherwise, let your doctor know.
I used Enemeez Plus and had no issues. Maybe it was a bad batch or something? I would contact the manufacturer or your doctor to be sure.
