I've been struggling with allergies for weeks now — runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, the works. My doctor prescribed Nasopen PE Liquid, which combines phenylephrine and thonzylamine. Now that I'm on it, I'm wondering about side effects. I'm feeling a bit drowsy, but I heard this is a common issue. That said, it's way better than being stuffed up. Have any of you experienced anything more serious? What should I know about this? Any tips for managing the drowsiness?

It works for me, but I always get nervous about these meds. I try to stay away from antihistamine and decongestant combinations, if I can.

Same. I can't even take Sudafed without getting heart palpitations. Nasopen PE Liquid was a no go for me too.

Be careful! I tried it and got hives all over my arms and legs. Scared the hell out of me, but I'm fine now. Just be aware of the allergic reaction symptoms.

I had an allergic reaction to this too. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion from a doc—do not self medicate!

I took Nasopen PE Liquid for a few days and felt pretty nervous. I didn't think anything of it, but then I looked it up and found out it could be a side effect. I stopped taking it and I feel so much better now.

I've been taking it on and off for years. No serious issues, just the occasional dizziness. For me, it's worth the trade-off. I know I should probably report side effects, but I don’t want the pharmacy to refuse to give it to me anymore.

I've been on this for a month. I'm still dealing with some drowsiness, but I’ve found that taking it with a full meal helps. I also take it before bed instead of in the morning.

That hives story is creepy. I had some mild rash but it was nothing serious. I took more just for the dehydration to get rid of it.

I've been on Nasopen PE Liquid for a week and it's been great for my sinus issues. No serious side effects, just a bit of drowsiness, but I've been able to manage it.
