I was recently prescribed Levo-T 0.2mg (200mcg) tablets for hypothyroidism. I've been taking them for a few months now and have noticed some significant changes in my energy levels and overall well-being. The doctor explained that Levothyroxine replaces the hormone my thyroid gland isn’t producing enough of, which helps regulate my metabolism. It’s been a game-changer, but I’ve also experienced some side effects that I’m trying to manage. I’m curious to hear from others who have had similar experiences or any tips on managing side effects. Has anyone else dealt with mood changes or excessive sweating? How did you handle them? On a positive note, my weight has stabilized, and I feel more energetic, which is fantastic.

I had some hair loss at the beginning, but my doctor assured me it was temporary. Sure enough, it stopped a few months in. Just be patient and keep taking it as prescribed.

I just started Levo-T and I’m already feeling more energetic. No major side effects yet, knock on wood. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I’ve noticed that my appetite has changed a lot since starting Levo-T. Some days I’m ravenous, and other days I can barely eat. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’ve been trying to keep a food diary to see if there’s a pattern. Have any of you experienced something similar?

I had some serious anxiety and restlessness at the start. It was pretty rough. My doctor adjusted the dose, and things have been much better since. Always communicate any side effects to your doctor immediately. It’s all about finding the right dose for your body. Also, make sure to get regular blood tests to monitor your thyroid levels.

I’ve been on Levo-T for a while now, and it’s made a world of difference. I started with some mood swings and irritability, but they subsided after a few weeks. Stick with it, and you should see improvements.

I second the advice to take it on an empty stomach. It’s made a huge difference for me. Also, make sure to stay hydrated and avoid high-calorie foods if you're trying to manage weight changes.

I wish I had known about the hair loss before I started. It was a bit of a shock, but my hair is growing back now. It’s good to know it’s temporary.
