I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few months ago and started taking Levothyroxine 0.05mg (50mcg) tablets. It's been a game-changer! My energy levels have improved, and I feel more like myself again. However, I've experienced some side effects like hair loss and mood changes. I've read that these can be temporary, but I'm curious to know if anyone else has gone through the same thing, and any advice to deal with them? I've also noticed that the pills are small and easy to swallow, which is a plus! I'm just trying to stay positive and hopeful that these side effects will subside soon. Has anyone else experienced life-changing results from Levothyroxine? Let's share our journeys and support each other! If you have any tips or advice, please share them below. It's been a tough road, but I'm grateful to finally feel like I'm on the path to recovery. I'm also curious to know if anyone else has experienced any of the more serious side effects listed, and if so, how they were addressed. I want to be prepared for any potential issues, but I'm also trying to stay positive and hopeful.

I wish the doctor warned me about the mood swings. I've been so irritable, even my kids noticed! Anyone have any tips for coping with this?

I've been on Levothyroxine for years and experienced hair loss at first, but it grew back. Stick with it and talk to your doctor!

I've gained weight since starting Levothyroxine. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm eating the same and exercising the same, this sucks.

I had chest pain and was scared, but it turned out to be muscle pain from an intense workout, and it went away. But, now I am extra cautious and always on guard, so I am glad I know about the symptom

Hair loss was rough, but I bought a wig and it helped me feel better about it. It's a good idea. Just be patient and your hair will grow back!

I barely swallow the tablet, it's so tiny. But, I'm glad it's not one of those huge pills. I have to take so many of them, and they make my throat feel so weird. But, like with all things — it's a small price to pay for relief

I've been on Levothyroxine for awhile and never experienced any side effects. I'm confused, maybe I'll try another medication instead

I had a severe headache and thought it was a side effect, but it turned out to be a migraine. Always good to rule out other causes first, but it's good to be informed about all the possibilities!

I felt like a zombie before starting Levothyroxine. Now I have my life back. Side effects suck, but it's worth it.
