I was recently prescribed Levoxyl 0.025mg (25mcg) Tablets for an underactive thyroid, and I'm trying to educate myself on the possible side effects. I've started experiencing some mood swings and sensitivity to heat, which has me a bit worried. I'm not sure if these are normal or if I should be concerned. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I'd love to hear from others who have been on this medication. Also, what are some tips for managing these side effects if they are normal? Lastly, how long do most people take this medication? I'm curious about long-term effects and whether my symptoms will eventually stabilize. Let me know what you think!

I had hair loss initially, but it grew back after a few months. Just hang in there, and if it persists, talk to your doc.

Levoxyl has been a lifesaver for me. I took it for a few years and my body adjusted well. The side effects were minimal and I felt better overall in terms of my energy levels and metabolism.

I think Levoxyl is a great medication. I've been on it for a while now and feel much better than when I first started. Side effects do subside as your body adjusts.

I started noticing increased sensitivity to heat when I began taking Levoxyl. I just make sure to stay hydrated and wear breathable clothing. It's definitely something to watch, but it's manageable.

I've never had luck with Levoxyl. A lot of these meds can differ in effectiveness and side effects., so keep that in mind. Hopefully, you'll experience no issues at all.
