Lido 3%/Hc 0.5% Rectal Cream - Anyone used it for hemorrhoids?
Has anyone tried Lido 3%/Hc 0.5% Rectal Cream for hemorrhoids? I've been dealing with painful discomfort and my doctor prescribed this. What are your experiences and what can I expect for improvement in terms of pain and swelling? Any side effects I should be prepared for?

Did you try any other treatments before this one?
I've used a similar cream before but never for hemorrhoids. I remember it working fast but make sure you're very careful when using it on sensitive areas. You gotta be sure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients first too.
I wish I had something like this when I had my hemorrhoid flare-up last year. I had to deal with a lot of discomfort and pain for a while before getting it checked out. I didn't know there was a cream that could help with the pain and swelling! Is it safe for long-term use?
Just make sure you use it as directed. I read the leaflet and it said to apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day and I didn't feel better but I didn't have any reactions either. I just stopped using it after a week and that was that. Ask your doctor about the dosage and usage.
I used it, but it gave me a rash so I had to stop. I'm not a fan of steroids so this isn't exactly my favorite medication. Plus, it’s expensive. My doctor was telling me, though, that it's effective for a lot of people.
