So, I've had pretty good luck with Midodrine, but my doctor also recommended lifestyle changes. Drinking more water, eating smaller meals, and not staying up all night on my computer have been a huge help. What gives me some sense of relief is that I know what I'm dealing with now. I've discussed this with my doctor because I just couldn't quite believe they were real. I knew that there were these weird tingling, itching, and goosebumps type of side effects but they were pretty mild.
Has anyone else had issues with high blood pressure from Midodrine? I started feeling dizzy and had a severe headache. I thought it was just my hypotension acting up, but my doctor said it was from the Midodrine. I was so confused, wondering why on earth this was happening to me.
Yeah, I’ve had the tingling scalp and goosebumps too. It’s weird, but I guess it’s better than passing out every time I stand up. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about any changes you notice. Stay safe out there, folks!
Midodrine has been a game-changer for me. I used to faint multiple times a day, but since starting this medication, I’ve only had a few episodes. It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot better than what I was dealing with.
I haven’t had any major issues, but I’ve heard horror stories. My doctor says it’s rare, but you have to be aware of the risks. If you start feeling any of the severe side effects, go to the ER immediately. Seriously, do not ignore them. I've heard of some people who put off going to the ER and ended up having to spend time in the hospital.
