I've been using Baclofen 10mg/20 Inj, 20ml for my spinal cord injury spasticity for six months, and it's been a game-changer for my muscle stiffness. I was initially hesitant about the intrathecal pump, but the difference in side effects and effectiveness compared to oral Baclofen has been night and day. However, I'm worried about the rare but serious side effects listed. I've experienced mild dizziness and fatigue, but nothing alarming. My doctor assures me these are manageable. I'd love to hear from others on this medication—what's your experience been like? Any tips for managing side effects? And lastly, remember that along with your doctor, you can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-332-1088 or online at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch if you have any questions or concerns.

I think it's great that this medication is being used more widely. A friend of mine has had a lot of bad side effects from oral baclofen, but she's doing really well with this pump.

I was so nervous about the implant, but it's been fine. The biggest issue was deciding the dosage. I was on 200 mL of medication before. I got the pump adjusted over a few weeks. I've been on this dose for about 3 months now and my balance has improved a lot. I've been able to walk without assistance. I've had some weird dreams, but that's about it. My doctor warned me about that, and it's not too bad. I figured out some tricks to mitigate the dizziness. Eat a light snack before taking any medications. I've been told to rest if I feel dizzy, but I haven't had to do that too often. I eat a healthy diet and exercise has helped me a lot. A few days after the surgery I felt pretty tired, but it's gone away. I have not had any constipation problems. It's been a long road and I'm not done my journey, but I have had a big improvement in my health

I've had no issues with the pump, and people think it’s a bit strange to put it in the abdomen. It does feel a bit weird, but it's worth it. I've been on this for a while now and it's been a lot better than the other medications I've tried. I also go for regular checkups. I have not had any seizures or anything like that. I'm pretty happy with the results.

I think this medication is better than oral baclofen for sure. I remember having to think carefully about the dosage so I didn't accidentally take too much and feel sleepy. With the pump it's better controlled and I've seen a lot of improvement in my symptoms. I've been on the 20 mg dose for a few months and I've not had any real problems with it, apart from feeling a little tired when I first woke up. I think it's worth it and the benefits are better than the side effects.

I've had some issues with muscle weakness and strange sensations, but my doctor adjusted my dosage, and it's much better now. Just make sure you keep an open line of communication with your healthcare provider.
