I've been taking Oyster Shell Calcium 250mg with Vitamin D for a few months now, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my bone health. I wanted to start a discussion about this supplement because I have seen people asking questions about it. It's helped me with my calcium deficiency and helps to prevent osteoporosis. But I'm curious to hear from others who have used. Has anyone else experienced positive results? I've also been wondering about the side effects. I've heard that bone pain can be a sign of high calcium levels. How many of you have experienced any side effects? What did you do about them? I also want to hear from people who have been taking this for a long time. Is it something you can take indefinitely, or do you think it's better to cycle off and on? I've been trying to figure that out for myself. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

I had a friend who had some urinary problems after taking the supplement but it was just a minor inconvenience. They were able to fix it. But it's worth keeping an eye on your diet as well, especially if you're taking this supplement. Calcium only does so much afterall. Make sure you're eating right and getting regular exercise. The doctor should be able to give you a better diet plan. Just my two cents.

You should see your doctor about your symptoms. And do not guess or assume what you might have. Seriously, I know you guys love self-diagnosis here, but this is your health we are talking about, get a medical professional involved. It is the best thing for you.

I've been experiencing severe constipation lately and I've been wondering if it could be from this supplement. I thought it was just from my usual diet but some of the side effects match my symptoms. I'm glad I saw this thread. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it.

I've been meaning to look into calcium supplements. I tried to get it all from my diet, but it wasn't enough. Thanks for posting this. It's good to know what to expect.

I've tried Oyster Shell Calcium in the past, but I always had this weird, chalky feeling when I took it. It was hard to get used to. Did any of you ever have this problem? I tried different brands, but it was always the same.

You can take it for as long as you need it. It really varies from person to person. Some people need it for life, some people take it for a while and then their calcium levels come back to normal. Some people take it and don't see any improvement. A lifelong commitment to Oyster Shell Calcium 250mg isn't always necessary. But I do not recommend taking it without doctor supervision.

This is interesting. My mom took the supplement but then stopped because she heard that too much calcium could hurt your heart. Is that true?

I've been taking Oyster Shell Calcium for years to manage my osteoporosis. It's been a game-changer for me. I've had no issues with side effects. I did have to have a blood test for calcium levels but it returned normal. I really think it's a great supplement, but talk to your doctor first.

I used to take too much calcium. It wasn't from supplements but from all the dairy I consumed everyday. It actually caused me a lot of trouble. So don't go overboard, even if you're sure you are getting enough from diet and supplements.
