Life Saving or Nightmare? Experiences with Gabitril 2mg Tablets
I was recently prescribed Gabitril 2mg Tablets to help manage my partial seizures. I've read the side effects list and it's quite scary, but my doctor assured me it helps many people. I'm worried about the risk of suicidal thoughts and the severe skin reactions. Has anyone had experience with this medication? Did you encounter any of the severe side effects? I'm really hoping for positive experiences and tips on managing any side effects I may encounter.

Gabitril really helped control my seizures, but I did experience some changes in vision. My doctor said it was a rare side effect but managed it by adjusting the dosage.
I don’t know, man. I’ve had such bad luck with seizure meds. I’d probably just stick it out and see how it goes, but yeah, be careful about those side effects.
I wish I could say it was easy, but it’s so hard to find the right balance. Be prepared for some trial and error.
Be careful with this one. I had a friend who had some crazy mood swings and anxiety issues. Had to stop taking it immediately.
I'm on the same boat and the thought of Stevens-Johnson syndrome freaks me out. I'm hoping it doesn’t get to that point.
My sister is taking Gabitril. She had a rough start with it, but now she’s doing well. Just make sure to stay in touch with your neurologist and report any side effects immediately.
I've found that taking Gabitril with food helps a lot with the stomach issues. Good luck, I hope it works for you!
