I've been prescribed Pacerone 400mg Tablets for my arrhythmias, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about how you've managed any side effects and what your overall experience has been like. Specific details about the common and severe side effects are welcome, especially if you've found strategies to cope with them. Are there any long-term effects to worry about? I assume they are serious, as Pacerone is always a last resort?

I was on this med for a few years. The side effects were manageable at first, but then I started having some thyroid issues. I ended up switching to a different medication because the side effects were too severe. You can try different medication until you find a better alternative.

I can't believe how strong the warning list is on this drug. My doctor said it's usually a last resort for a reason. The side effects are no joke, and the list of things to watch out for is longer than my grocery list. But it is working for your heart, and that's worth it in a way. Anyone else got the side effects spelled out clearly on a list, they were scary.

My mom was on this and she had all sorts of side effects but she said it was worth it in the end. It's a hard drug to handle, but it's a lifesaver in situations like yours.

Pacerone has serious side effects and should be treated with caution.

My doctor said it's a 'scary drug' because it's so strong. The side effects are scary, but if you have an arrhythmia, you know how bad that can be
