I've been prescribed Lorazepam 1mg tablets for anxiety, and while they've helped with symptoms, I'm curious about the side effects. Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine that calms the brain and nerves, which is great for short-term use. However, I've heard some scary things about the potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced anything concerning? I've read about allergic reactions, mood changes, hallucinations, and even severe breathing problems. I want to be prepared, and I'm not sure if I should be worried if I experience any of these. I've been keeping a journal of allergies like rash, hives, itching, redness, or swelling that may indicate an allergic reaction. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I'm trying to stay calm and keep in touch with my doctor.

I've been on Lorazepam for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just make sure you don't drive or operate heavy machinery while taking it—it can make you really drowsy and dizzy. That was a bit annoying at first but I got used to it.

I had a friend who took Lorazepam and ended up with some pretty bad hallucinations. She had to stop taking it immediately. It's scary stuff, so definitely keep an eye out for those symptoms.

Lorazepam was a lifesaver for me during a really stressful period, but you have to be careful. Make sure you’re not taking it for too long. It’s meant for short-term use, and long-term use can lead to dependence. I had a friend who got addicted and had a really hard time getting off it.

Be careful with this stuff. I know someone who got really bad skin reactions and had to stop taking it. It's worth it to be cautious.

Take it easy, don’t rush into anything and stay in touch with your doctor. It's the same with any meds you have to try. It's usually fine, but you have to be careful and look out for those side effects.

I had a really bad reaction to Lorazepam. Severe dizziness and muscle weakness. Had to stop taking it. But I didn’t know it could get that bad.
