I've recently started using Lucemyra 0.18mg Tablets to help with opioid withdrawal symptoms. I was excited to find a non-opioid option to manage withdrawal but I've been reading about some concerning side effects. Does anyone else have experience with this medication? I'm particularly concerned about the potential for severe side effects like dizziness, fainting, or abnormal heartbeat. I also read that it can cause a prolonged QT interval, which sounds serious. My doctor assured me it was safe and would help reduce the discomfort of opioid withdrawal but I'm having second thoughts. Anyone have tips on how to manage the withdrawal process effectively and safely? I'd love some real-life experiences or advice. I've been struggling with trouble sleeping and a dry mouth, but I'm wondering if these are common or if there are ways to alleviate them. I know some people might argue that the benefits outweigh the risks, but I just want to be informed and prepared.

It can be rough but it's so much better than the alternative. I was taking opioids for chronic pain, and withdrawal was unbearable. Lucemyra made it much more manageable. The dry mouth is annoying, but it's better than the alternative.

I have a friend who took Lucemyra and had a bad reaction. She had trouble breathing and had to go to the hospital. It was scary, and she won't try it again. Be careful and listen to your body.

I had a lot of trouble sleeping and a dry mouth. But if you take it before bedtime, it can be a bit easier to manage. Keep a glass of water by your bedside just in case. Oh, and if you start feeling dizzy or faint, sit down or lie down right away. It helps to prevent falling. Also, if you start feeling any heart issues, like a fast or irregular heartbeat, go to the ER immediately. It's better to be safe than sorry. And always talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. Who cares if it's late, they aren't going anywhere.

I’ve been on Lucemyra for a month now, and my experience has been a bit rough. I experienced dizziness a few times, but it went away after the first week. I’ve also had some trouble sleeping, but it’s better than the alternative. I take it at night, and it helps me stay calm enough to sleep. I also keep a glass of water by my bed, though I forget sometimes. It's all part of the process I guess
