I've been on Metformin for years and it's been great for controlling my blood sugar. Just make sure to stay hydrated and it helps with the side effects.

Metformin worked wonders for me! I started with 500mg and gradually increased to 850mg. Definitely had some stomach issues at first, but taking it with food helped a lot.

I switched to extended-release Metformin and it made a huge difference with the stomach issues. Might be worth talking to your doctor about!
Metformin is a lifesaver, but the side effects are no joke. Just remember, they usually go away after a few weeks.
