I recently started using Miconazole 7 100mg Vaginal Supp for a yeast infection and I'm experiencing some vaginal irritation. I've been reading the side effects and it seems like it could be related. Has anyone else had this issue? How long should I expect the irritation to last? Are there any tips for managing this during treatment? I'm really hoping it goes away soon because it's quite uncomfortable.

I found that gentle, warm sitz baths helped a lot with the irritation. I used plain water and soaked for about 10 minutes, a few times a day. It was surprisingly soothing. I also made sure to wear cotton underwear and loose-fitting clothes to help with airflow. If the irritation persists or gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor. They might be able to adjust your treatment plan or suggest additional remedies. You might also want to avoid using harsh soaps or douches during this time, as they can further irritate the area. Stick to mild, fragrance-free products instead. Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and support your body's natural healing processes. I was also told that probiotics might help restore the natural balance of bacteria in your body, but always check with a healthcare professional first.

It goes away once the course is finished. Drink lots of water, it helps.

I had the same issue with my last infection. I used a water based lube to help with the irritation. Hope you feel better soon!

I thought my doctor was kidding when she said it could burn like hell, but she was right. Never again

I hate yeast infections. Be careful when using miconazole 7 100 mg vaginal suppositories. The burning sensation can get unbearable sometimes.
