I've been prescribed Mucus Relief 1200mg ER Tablets for my persistent chest congestion, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken these? I'm particularly worried about the rare but serious allergic reactions. I understand that guaifenesin is supposed to help thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up, but I've heard horror stories about severe reactions. I want to be prepared and know what to expect. What are the red flags and what should I do if I experience any of them? I'd appreciate any real experiences, tips, or advice!

I tried these when I had a nasty cough and it was amazing! No side effects for me, but I'm sure everyone is different. It really helped me get through cold season. I've found that if you take it as directed, you can avoid most issues.

I had a mild reaction with these, but nothing life-threatening. It was just a slight rash, nothing I couldn't handle. Personally, I'd recommend trying them if you're desperate, but be ready for the worst. It’s better to be safe.

Be cautious with any medication, but these are generally safe. I had a mild rash, nothing serious, but it could have been from anything. If you get hives, though, get to a doctor right away. Better safe than sorry.

I had really bad reactions to these. My face and throat started swelling, and it was scary. I ended up going to the hospital. I've heard people have different experiences, but watch out for the red flags. If you feel anything unusual, drop it and go to the doctor. I wish I had done that sooner.

I had a friend who took these and ended up with a swollen face. It was terrifying. She went straight to the ER, and they gave her some sort of injection to stop the reaction. Definitely keep an eye out for swelling—it can get serious quickly.

I had to use these for a bad cold a while back. They helped me breathe much easier. I didn't get any side effects, but it's important to stay aware. I've heard that drinking lots of water can help lessen the side effects.
