My child had an allergic reaction to Nanovm 4-8 Years Powder - What can I do?
I started giving my 6-year-old daughter Nanovm 4-8 Years Powder a few weeks ago as recommended by her pediatrician. She's a picky eater, and I wanted to ensure she's getting all the necessary vitamins and minerals. However, last night she developed a raised, itchy rash and had some difficulty breathing. I took her to the ER, and the doctor told me it was likely an allergic reaction to the supplement. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do next? I'm really worried about her

That's scary! Just make sure she stays hydrated and don't give her any more of those supplements until you talk to a doctor.
I'm so sorry to hear this. Make sure to keep a close eye on her and call 911 if things get worse. Please update us on how she's doing
I had a similar experience with my son. We stopped giving him the supplement and the symptoms went away. I would also recommend giving your doctor a call. Maybe the pediatrician will suggest a different supplement.
I am not an expert, but I have heard that sometimes the iron in these supplements can cause reactions. Maybe try a different supplement without iron?
Have you tried a different brand? Sometimes it's just one specific ingredient that causes the reaction.
That's terrifying! I've heard that some kids can have reactions to certain vitamins. I hope your daughter feels better soon
This is exactly why I avoid giving my kids supplements. Their little bodies can't handle it. Please report this to the FDA!
