I've been using Aimovig Sureclick 70mg/ml 1 Autoinj for the past 3 months to prevent migraines, and I've noticed a significant reduction in the frequency and severity of my headaches. The injection process is straightforward, and I haven't experienced any major side effects so far. However, I've been experiencing mild constipation, which seems to be a common side effect and a bit of pain at the injection site. I've been managing it with a high-fiber diet and stool softeners, but I'm curious if anyone else has found effective ways to deal with this. Additionally, I've heard about severe allergic reactions and high blood pressure as potential side effects. Has anyone else had any adverse reactions? It's important to stay informed and prepared. Also, how do you all feel about the process of self-administering the injection? Any tips for making it less painful or nerve-wracking?

I've had Aimovig for a few months and the constipation is horrible. I had to go to the ER because I couldn't pass anything. Make sure you're eating right and staying hydrated, folks—I don't want anyone else to go through that.

I had to go to the pharmacy to get my first Aimovig shot — it was a little nerve-wracking but I got the hang of it. Sometimes my doctor recommends paying for an expert nurse to show you how to do it the first time. I thought it was worth the small fee.

I had to stop using Aimovig because of severe allergic reactions. It's scary how quickly it can happen. If you experience any signs, don't wait—go to the ER. Better safe than sorry.

I wish my insurance covered this medication. It's expensive, but it's worth it if it works.

I’m curious about the constipation side effect. Has anyone tried any specific remedies that really helped? I’ve been dealing with it for a while now.

I've been using Aimovig for about 6 months now, and it's been a game-changer for my migraines. I started experiencing injections site reactions, but they went away after a few injections. I haven't had any severe side effects, thankfully. Just a bit of constipation, but it's manageable. I've also found that using a numbing cream before the injection helps a lot with the pain. Just don't forget to factor in the time the cream takes to work before you inject. Has anyone else tried this tip and have any other helpful advice?

I’ve been lucky with Aimovig. No major side effects, and my migraines are almost non-existent now. It’s been a huge improvement in my quality of life, though I do have to make sure to keep a lot of water on hand.
