I had a weird rash while on this medication. It was uncomfortable, but I called my doctor and they assured me it was a common side effect. It went away after I finished the course.
Antibiotics are a necessary evil sometimes. Just remember, if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, like swelling or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention right away.
I always recommend taking probiotics while on antibiotics to help with the digestive side effects. It's worked for me and my family.
Be very careful with the diarrhea. I had a friend who developed CDAD after taking a different antibiotic, and it was a nightmare. If you experience severe diarrhea, contact your doctor immediately. It's not worth the risk.
