I've been prescribed Lortab 7.5-325mg Tablets to manage severe pain, but I'm worried about the side effects. I've read that it can cause serious problems like breathing issues and liver damage if not taken correctly. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to know what to expect and any tips for managing side effects. Also, how closely do you need to be monitored by a medical professional? It's a strong combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen - I'm nervous about taking too many.

Lortab was a lifesaver for me after my back injury. I was skeptical at first, but it really helped with the pain. Just be aware of the side effects and communicate with your doctor. Also, be careful with other meds. I took some cold medicine and it made me feel really weird. Turns out it's bad to mix with opiates.

So many side effects... I'm really not looking forward to starting this. I just don't want to get hooked. I've heard horror stories.

Lortab has been a game-changer for me in managing chronic pain. However, I have to be really careful with the dosage. I've had issues with constipation and dizziness, but my doctor helped me manage those with some lifestyle changes. Just make sure to communicate openly with your doctor about any issues you're having.

Oh man, my mom took this and it really messed up her liver. Take it a minimum dose and don't drink alcohol with it.

I've been on Lortab for a few months now, and it's helped with my pain, but I've definitely noticed some dizziness and stomach issues. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about managing those symptoms. And yeah, the liver thing is no joke. Make sure to avoid alcohol and watch your other pain meds.

I took Lortab for a few weeks after surgery, and it was fine for me. No major side effects, but I'm not big on pain meds. I'm always afraid of taking too much. The side effects list is terrifying. Did your doctor give you a good rundown on all the risks?

Make sure you don't take more than the recommended dose. Acetaminophen overdose can cause serious liver damage, and hydrocodone can be habit-forming. I've had friends get into trouble with opioid painkillers, so be careful. Get a good system for tracking dosages. Maybe set reminders on your phone.

It's a strong painkiller, that's for sure. I had to take it after a major surgery, and it did the job. But the side effects were rough. Definitely talk to your doctor about managing them. Also, the potential for addiction is real so be careful and keep an eye on your dosage.

Be very careful with this stuff. My friend got hooked and ended up in rehab. It's super addictive. Make sure you're taking exactly what the doctor says and even consider getting a pill counter so you're not accidentally taking more than you should

I've had some rough experiences with Lortab. The dizziness was bad, but the constipation was the worst. I had to talk to my doctor about adjusting my dose and adding some stool softeners. It's not a fun side effect to deal with.
