I've been on Ofev 150mg for about a year now, and while it's helped slow down my IPF, I've experienced some side effects. I'm so glad I found this thread! I'm new to Ofev and was terrified of the side effects. It's only been a few weeks and I have minor nosebleeds and nausea. Should I be worried? Will this go away?
I've heard of a few friends with IPF trying Ofev and being really happy with the results so far. I've been thinking about trying it. Anyone with a lung transplant? How did you do?
I've had a great experience with Ofev so far. I had some initial nausea and diarrhea, but it went away after a few weeks. I feel like I have more energy now, and my breathing has improved. I know everyone is different, but I'm just glad I feel better overall.

I've been on Ofev for about 6 months now, and while it's been helpful in slowing down the progression of my IPF, I've had some really tough side effects like severe nausea and weight loss. I was hospitalized with a UTI and I had to stop taking it for a week. My doctor adjusted my dosage, and it's been much better since. Make sure to monitor your kidney function and watch for infections. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor right away.
I just started Ofev and I can't believe how bad the stomach problems are. Is it normal to have blood in the stool? I'm scared and don't know if I should keep taking it.
