I've been using Retin-A 0.01% Gel for about a month now, and I've seen some improvements in my acne, but the side effects have been brutal. My skin is incredibly dry, and I've been dealing with a lot of redness and peeling. I'm not sure if the benefits are worth the discomfort. Has anyone else had a similar experience, and how did you manage the side effects? Also, I'm curious to hear about any long-term benefits people have seen.

Have you tried using it every other day instead of daily? That worked for me. My skin couldn't handle it daily but it got used to it on alternate days.

I've been on a similar journey, it's weird that this stuff can make you look worse before you look better. But it did work and now my skin is way better.

I absolutely love Retin-A, have been using for 6 months. It's been life changing. At first it was a bit overwhelming and irritating. Had to take a week break because it irritated my skin so much. But it is absolutely worth it. My skin is so smooth and blemish free. I'm so glad I stuck with it. It has really boosted my confidence.

I've been using Retin-A for a year now, and while the initial side effects were tough, they eventually went away. My skin is so much clearer and more even-toned now. It's definitely worth the initial discomfort.

I felt the same way at first, but it's a purging phase. My acne got worse before it got better. I felt like giving up but then my acne started to clear up and my skin started to look better

Yes, the side effects are tough, but it's worth it in the long run. I've been using it for six months and my skin is so much clearer and smoother. Just be patient and give it time to work.

There is a reason why everyone says it's a miracle drug. Retin-A is like the holy grail for me. When I was using it, I remember feeling like I needed to be a little more delicate with my skin. But it worked.

I used Retin-A for a few months and it really helped my acne, but the first few weeks were rough. I found that using a good moisturizer helped a lot with the dryness and peeling. Stick with it if you can. it gets better over time!

Retin-A is a godsend, the dryness and peeling will go away. In the meantime, use a good moisturizer and get some Alpha Arbutin serum.
