I was prescribed Trifluoperazine 1mg Tablets for my severe anxiety a few months ago. At first, I was really hopeful because the doctor said it could help calm me down and reduce all the chaotic thoughts I was having. It did work for a while, but lately, I've been experiencing some side effects that have me worried. I've been feeling really dizzy and weak, and I've had a few episodes of severe restlessness. I'm not sure if this is something I need to talk to my doctor about or if it's just part of the deal with this medication. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice.

It's hard to find a balance with these medications. I hope you and your doctor can find a solution.

I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. It's possible the doctor could adjust your dose or find an alternative. I had to switch to a different drug as well, but some folks find relief with Trifluoperazine once they get the right dose, unfortunately.

It's worth considering the possibility that you might need something else. If the side effects are too bad it's a sign from your body that this drug isn't right for you. Listen to your body

I know some people completely avoid these meds, but if they work for you don't give up yet. I had a similar reaction when I started, but after a lot of adjustments, I've found a good balance. Keep in touch with your doctor.

I've been on Trifluoperazine for about a year now, and while it's helped with my symptoms, I've had similar issues with dizziness and weakness. It's definitely something you should speak to your doctor about. They might adjust the dosage or switch you to a different medication. Don't suffer in silence!

Dizziness and restlessness are unfortunately common side effects. Stopping the medication will help with these side effects but not with your anxiety. Is the anxiety better controlled than before? That's the real question. If so, it may be worth side effects.

My dad was on Trifluoperazine for his schizophrenia and he had some really bad side effects including severe dizziness and inability to sweat. Doctors are helpful but take it seriously. This drug can do awful things to your body.
