So, I've been taking Brantussin DM Liquid for the past two days to deal with my nasty cold. It's been helping with the cough and runny nose, but I've been feeling pretty dizzy and I woke up this morning with this crazy rash on my arms. I know side effects happen, but this rash is kind of scary. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar? Should I be worried about this, or is it probably nothing? I don't want to go to the doctor unless it's serious, but I also don't want to ignore something important.

I had a rash after taking it. I had itching high fevers too. I had to go to the hospital last week and all they did was give me some medicine and a warning. I'm not taking it anymore.
I had a bad reaction to Brantussin DM once. It was pretty scary. I wouldn't mess around if you're feeling really bad. Better to be safe. Go to the doctor.
Seriously, if you're feeling really off, just go to the doctor. It's not worth risking your health. You could always take some over-the-counter antihistamine and decongestant instead. They work just as well, I've had great success with them but never with Brantussin.
I can't believe people still take this stuff. My wife had a reaction to it and it was pretty scary. Trust your instincts, and if something is really bothering you, get to the doctor.
