Naftin 2% Cream is a commonly prescribed topical medication for treating fungal infections like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Its active ingredient works by stopping the growth of the fungus, making it an effective treatment for these conditions. However, I've been hesitant to use it on my kids due to the potential side effects listed. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'm particularly concerned about the possibility of allergic reactions. If you've used Naftin 2% Cream on children, I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have. Let's discuss the pros and cons and ensure we're making the best decision for our families.

I've used it a few times with no issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and keep an eye out for any signs of irritation. It's worked well for me against jock itch and athlete's foot.

I prefer to avoid topical creams with potential allergens. I’ve been using tea tree oil and aloe vera gel on my kids and it’s been fine on their skin so far. I have a lot of experience with alternative treatments for skin problems, and I usually opt to try a gentler natural option before going to medicines.

I've had a bad reaction to similar topical creams before. The idea of hives or trouble breathing scares me. I think I'll stick to natural remedies instead of Naftin 2% Cream.

The FDA link is helpful. Always good to report any side effects to make sure the information is up to date and accurate. Don't forget to help document things so they can be prescribed safely in the future.

It's been a while since I used it, but I remember it worked well for me. I applied it as directed and didn't experience any side effects. I had itchy feet and it cleared it all up.

My doctor recommended Naftin 2% for a fungal infection on my shoulder. The cream stopped the growth of the fungus and quickly got rid of the problem. I didn't get any of the side effects listed in the leaflet, so I don't get why some people worry so much. It's actually pretty safe.

I applied it as directed and didn't experience any side effects. I had itchy feet and it cleared it all up. I didn't have any side effects at all. None

I’m glad to hear that it has worked for some of you. I’ll probably end up using something else though, because I don't want the kids to be scared if they have an allergic reaction. It may seem obvious, but the instructions on the side of the box say to keep it out of the reach of children, so make sure to keep it somewhere safe.
