So, I've been using Naftin 2% Gel for a few weeks now to tackle some persistent athlete's foot. I've tried other treatments in the past but this stuff seems to be doing the trick. Has anyone else had success with Naftin? It seems like a pretty strong topical, but I'm curious about any side effects people might have experienced. I've noticed some slight irritation on the skin, but nothing too severe. It feels like it stops the fungus from spreading. Anyone else have an experience with this?

Why does everything that works have to be so expensive? $30 for a 45gm tube of Naftin seems a bit steep and I have to be honest, I have to use it sparingly. But it's better than the spreading infection!

Has anyone noticed if Naftin interacts with other topical treatments, like antibiotics? I'm using some topical antibiotic for acne and want to make sure they don't interfere with each other.

I've heard some people complain about the gel being too greasy, but I didn't find it that bad. It absorbs pretty quickly, just make sure to wash your hands afterwards.

I've been using it for a few days and it's actually working pretty well. It's a bit expensive compared to some other options, but if it works, it works. I think it's worth it for the peace of mind.

Honestly, I've had some terrible experiences with fungal infections in the past. One time, I thought I had a simple case of athlete's foot but it was actually ringworm! Took me weeks to figure it out, and I had to go on oral medication. Ever since then, I've been extra careful and always make sure to use topicals as directed. Nice to know there are effective topical options like Naftin out there!

Yeah, I swear by Naftin too! My wife had a terrible case of ringworm and this topical cleared it up in no time. But she noticed some redness at the application site, but it faded away in a couple of days. Just make sure to use it as directed and you'll be fine,

Honestly, I've found that combining Naftin with some over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream helps a ton with the irritation. It's like a one-two punch: the Naftin kills the fungus, and the hydrocortisone calms down the skin. I just apply the hydrocortisone a bit after the naftin.

Is anyone using natural remedies alongside Naftin? I've heard tea tree oil can be helpful for fungal infections, but I'm not sure if it's safe to mix with prescription topicals.

I had a pretty bad case of jock itch a while back and my doctor prescribed Naftin. It worked like a charm and cleared up the infection within a week. However, I did experience some mild itching and redness initially, but it went away as my skin healed. I guess it's a small price to pay for getting rid of the infection. Stay on it!

Very helpful, thanks for sharing your experience! Could you explain more about what your initial skin irritation felt like? Was it a burning sensation or more of a general discomfort? I'm a bit worried about trying it because I have sensitive skin.
