I was recently prescribed Nebivolol 2.5mg tablets for my high blood pressure. I've been taking them for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I'm impressed by how effectively they've helped to lower my blood pressure, I've noticed fewer headaches and overall feeling less strained. I've had to make sure I take one at the same time each day though, to help me remember. My physician was helpful in explaining the mechanism of action: Nebivolol is a selective beta-blocker that works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing down the heart rate, which helps the heart pump blood more easily throughout the body. One thing that concerned me initially were the possible side effects, especially the urinary ones. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything unusual? It would be great to hear from others who are taking Nebivolol and if anyone has any tips on managing side effects or remembering to take it everyday. The doctor mentioned those side effects are rare, but I'm still a bit worried. I'm thinking of trying to connect with others who are dealing with similar issues. Another thing that helped me was reading some more background information about the medication, which made me feel more at ease. I found this website which talks about common issues and how to overcome them: https://www.heart.org/en/health-topics/high-blood-pressure/treating-high-blood-pressure/medications-for-treating-high-blood-pressure

I've been on Nebivolol for a couple of months now, and I've noticed that my heart rate is a bit slower than usual. I've been keeping an eye on it, and it seems to be within a normal range, but I'm still a bit concerned. Anyone else experiencing this? I think it's a side effect of the medication, but I wanted to double-check.

Interesting, Nebivolol has to be taken on an empty stomach, so that's one thing I had to be careful about. In the morning, I take it right after I wake up and before I eat, and that works for me. I haven't had any issues with it, and my blood pressure is much better controlled.

I wish I could find a new doctor who can prescribe these medications in a more sensible manner. The instructions they give aren't very clear, and it took me a long time to figure out the best way to take them.

I started taking Nebivolol a few months ago and I must say, I feel like a new person. I had awful headaches before, but they've completely gone away. My doctor told me it might take a few weeks to see the full effects, so stick with it if you're new to the medication. Just be careful with your dosage and don't miss any days, as it's important for keeping your blood pressure under control.

You can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-332-1088 or online at https://www.fda.gov/medwatch. It's always a good idea to keep track of any unusual symptoms and share them with your doctor.

Has anyone else noticed any weight gain or swelling after starting Nebivolol? I've put on a few pounds, and my ankles are a bit puffy. It's worrying, but maybe it's just a coincidence.

I'm curious about how to report any side effects that I might experience while taking Nebivolol. I think I might be having some, but I'm not sure if they're related to the medication or something else.

I've been on Nebivolol for a year now, and it's been a game-changer for my blood pressure. Just remember to take it at the same time every day, and you'll be fine.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of beta-blockers. They always make me feel so tired and weak. I've tried a few different ones, and Nebivolol is no exception.

I've been taking 2.5mg of Nebivilol once daily, but I heard from a friend that some people might need to up their dosage to 5mg. What about you guys? O_O
