I've been prescribed Proglycem 50mg/ml Suspension for hypoglycemia and I'm a bit worried about the side effects. The list seems pretty long and daunting. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? What are the most common issues to look out for, and how bad are they? The symptoms for high blood sugar are confusing, and I'm not sure if what I felt yesterday was an issue with the medication. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially from those who've been on it for a while.

Proglycem made me have a lot of weird dreams. I've been checking my blood sugar levels every 2 or 3 hours just to be safe. Make sure you have a good support system and a doctor who checks in to see how you're doing. Don't just rely on internet advice.

I've never understood why they make the side effect list so scary. Most people don't get the worst ones. Just keep track of what you're feeling and if something feels really off, call your doctor. But don't stress too much, okay?

I didn't have any issues, but my friend got severe stomach pains. She had to stop taking it. It's crazy how differently people react to the same meds. Be careful, listen to your body, and talk to your doc if anything feels off.

I had some weird allergic reactions at first, like itching and hives. It was really scary, but my doctor switched me to a different dose and it got better. Just keep an eye on any changes.

I've been on Proglycem for about 6 months now, and honestly, the side effects were a bit scary at first, but they calmed down. The worst was the stomach pain and headaches but they went away after a few weeks. Keep an eye on dehydration.

I didn't have any problems, but a coworker freaked out when she saw 'fluid retention' on the side effects list. She started doing yoga and stuff to stay hydrated but the meds just don't affect people the same way. Just take it for what it is and don't get paranoid
