I was on these for a while after surgery. The drowsiness was pretty bad at first, but it got better after a couple of weeks. Just be careful with driving or operating machinery. And yeah, the constipation is no joke. Stool softeners helped a lot.
Make sure to take it at the same time every day. Consistency is key with extended-release meds. Also, avoid alcohol completely while on this. It can cause serious issues. And listen to your body—if something feels off, don't hesitate to call your doctor.
I found that taking it with a meal helped a lot with the nausea. Just a heads-up.
