I've been prescribed Nicardipine 30mg Capsules for high blood pressure and I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? My doctor recommended switching to Nicardipine after my previous medication started causing me trouble. It’s been a game-changer, and I’ve had very few side effects. Just a bit of fatigue and headaches but I get those occasionally anyway. I take it with food and drink lots of water to avoid any issues. You should ask your doctor for suggestions on how to manage the side effects if you experience them. They can help you.
I switched to Nicardipine from another blood pressure med because of the side effects of my previous med. The dizziness is a bit annoying, but it's better than the chest pain I was having before. Give it a shot and if you have severe side effects, your doctor can adjust the dosage or switch you to something else. Trust your doctor's advice and always report any side effects, even if they seem minor.
I wish I had found this place before I went on Nicardipine. I had a bad reaction to it - chest pain and shortness of breath. I had to go to the ER right away. Turns out I’m allergic to it.

I'm on week 3 and no side effects so far. I had some mild dizziness the first day but nothing serious. I read the directions carefully and followed them to the letter. I'm also drinking plenty of water throughout the day
