I've been trying to quit smoking for what feels like the millionth time, and this time I've decided to give Nicotine Polacr 4mg Mint Lozenges a try. I've heard good things about nicotine replacement therapies, but I'm curious about the side effects and how well they actually work. I've been using them for a week now, and while I've noticed a reduction in cravings, I've also experienced some mouth irritation and a few headaches. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Are these side effects common, or should I be concerned? I'm also wondering if anyone has any tips for getting the most out of these lozenges. Do you suck on them? Swallow them? How many per day is safe? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Nicotine replacement is a great tool. I used the lozenges for six months and they helped me quit successfully. But I agree the throat irritations are not always fun. Chewing gum alongside the lozenges helped a lot. I felt the best results were from using them when I would have normally smoked. Plan the way you'll use them, and you'll find it easier to overcome cravings.

I never get any sleep when taking NRT. If you are lucky, you could get 2 hours of sleep.

Hey, thanks for the advice, guys. I got 72 lozenges but I reckon I'm gonna need more than a week. The instructions say to use them for 12 weeks max. I'm hoping I can quit by then. Let’s see!

I used these lozenges and had a really hard time with the mint flavor. I ended up switching to the regular flavor and found it to be much more tolerable. Just a heads-up if you're having trouble with the mint ones.
