I've been using Nystatin Cream 15gm to treat a persistent yeast infection in my skin folds, and it seems to be working. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones listed. Has anyone else used this cream and experienced any issues? I'm particularly concerned about the allergic reactions and irritation mentioned. Should I be worried, or are these side effects really rare? I've had mild irritation before but nothing severe. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've used Nystatin Cream for diaper rash on my baby, and it worked wonders. No side effects at all. Just make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and apply the cream as directed. Easy

Yep, I've had this before and it worked great, but I remember swearing I was breaking out when it was just the rash. It's rough, but I guess it's worth it

I've never heard of anyone having a severe reaction to Nystatin Cream. I think it's safe to say that the benefits outweigh the risks. I did have a bad experience with a different cream before.. It was a nightmare. Like constant itching.

Why would you take Nystatin for a DIY yeast infection only to get a yeast infection in your blood stream or a rash that covers you entirely? Just go to the doctor; it's not worth it

I had no idea Nystatin Cream could cause such severe side effects. I've used it a few times with no issues, but I'll definitely be more careful in the future. Thank you for the heads-up!

I've used Nystatin Cream before and didn't have any issues. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and apply it as directed. If you do get a rash or swelling you should stop immediately and seek help. It's always good to be cautious, but I don't think you need to worry too much.

I had a bad reaction to Nystatin Cream a few years back. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. It was terrifying, and I ended up in the ER. If you start to feel any of those symptoms, go to the hospital right away. It's not worth risking your life over a skin infection. Do you have pet insurance at least?

If you're worried about side effects, talk to your doctor about it. They can provide guidance based on your specific situation. I had a girl I know who was recovering from a cut who got a yeast infection. Don't be her.
