I've been taking Octreotide 200mcg Inj, 5ml for my acromegaly for a few months now, and I've had some severe side effects. I started to notice swelling, rapid heartbeat, and severe dizziness, and the symptoms got worse over time. I finally had to go to the ER because the dizziness and hair loss were so bad. I want to know if anyone else has experienced these issues, and if so, how they handled it? I'm really worried that this is going to get worse. My doctor doesn't seem to be taking my concerns seriously, and I don't want to have a major health risk later on. Also, has anyone experienced gallbladder problems or diarreaha as a side effect? And how did you deal with that? I need some advice here!

I had severe stomach pain and nausea. It turned out I had pancreatitis, so it's crucial to get checked out. Don't ignore these symptoms; trust your instincts.

I've had dizziness and chest pains. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. Ended up it was just a side effect. Doctors know best. Just kinda sucks.
Warning: I had severe breathing issues and allergic reactions, ended up in the hospital for a week. Stick to the advice of your doctor!
