I've been taking Onglyza 5mg for about a year now to manage my type 2 diabetes, and I've had some mixed experiences. The medication seems to help control my blood sugar levels, but I've encountered a few side effects that have been concerning. Has anyone else had issues with joint pain or skin reactions? I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences and how they've managed any adverse effects. What's everyone's thoughts on the risk of pancreatitis with this medication? It's something I've been worried about since starting Onglyza. Any tips or advice for dealing with these potential side effects would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Onglyza for a few months and haven't had any major issues. Just some occasional headaches, but nothing too bad. How do you guys manage the rare but serious side effects like pancreatitis and heart failure? It's a bit scary to think about.

I've been reading up on the rare side effects and it's a bit frightening. But I guess if you're careful and keep an eye out for symptoms, you should be fine.

I seriously doubt the FDA needs more reports. These things are serious. My friend’s doctor recommended making a quick pause and trying something else—now she's using Lantus instead of Onglyza

I started Onglyza and had a very bad allergic reaction. My skin blistered and I had to go to the ER. Scary stuff. Now I'm back to trying different medications. Has anyone else had an allergic reaction?

I've been on Onglyza for over a year and have experienced joint pain. I talked to my doctor, and they switched me to a different medication. It's important to communicate with your healthcare provider about any discomfort you're experiencing. Has anyone else switched medications due to side effects? I wonder if the newer meds are any better.
