I've been taking Opdivo 240mg/24ml Inj, 24ml for a few months now, and I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced similar side effects. I've had some fatigue and joint pain, but nothing too severe. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential for more serious side effects like thyroid problems or pancreatitis. Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? How did you manage them? Also, how do you think Opdivo's mechanism of action compares to other immunotherapy drugs? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It's amazing how far immunotherapy has come. I remember when chemotherapy was the only option. Fingers crossed for continued progress!

You're right, the side effects list is quite daunting, but my oncologist assured me that the serious side effects are rare. I had a bad case of nausea and vomiting, but nothing life-threatening. Best of luck!

To be honest, it's hard to tell how Opdivo's mechanism of action compares to other treatments. What I do know is that Opdivo helped shrink my tumors, which is a big plus for me. Ask your doctor for some specifics.

I've been on Opdivo for about a year now, and I've had some experiences with the fatigue and joint pain you mentioned, but I also had issues with headaches and constipation. My doctor helped manage these issues with some over-the-counter meds, and they've since subsided. I agree that the thought of potential life-threatening side effects is concerning

I experienced some thyroid issues while on Opdivo. It was scary at first, but my endocrinologist got it under control with medication. Regular check-ups are key!

Opdivo has been a game-changer for me. The side effects weren't fun, but the alternative was worse. My cancer has been in remission for over a year now!

If you're experiencing any of the serious side effects, don't wait—go to the ER. Better safe than sorry!

I tried acupuncture, and it helped with my joint pain. But always talk to your doctor first—some supplements can interfere with Opdivo.

Wow, you're a year into taking Opdivo and still going strong. That's amazing. I'm hoping for the best and planning to see my doctor regularly for checkups. Thanks for your stories everyone!
